High Standards Equal Lasting Value

Bluewater Sportfishing Boats are built to deliver the highs and eliminate the lows for as long as you, and subsequent skippers, own your boat.

We start by meeting or exceeding all U.S. Coast Guard regulations. We have also received National Marine Manufacturers Association certification and met the rigid American Boat and Yacht Council requirements. We then go beyond those safety standards by using the best materials available in our hand-laminated decks and hulls – from ISO/NPG gelcoats to our own custom-blended resins and stitched FRP reinforcements – and positively no wood whatsoever. Everything that goes into a Bluewater is absolutely topnotch.

The Most Customizable Center Console Afloat

All of our boats are built to order, with your choice of power, electronics, deck gear and many other options – from towers and tops to bait stations and an instrument panel laid out to your specifications. Even the wiring harness is engineered to accommodate anything you may wish to add or change later.

We also offer a host of creature comforts, such as a head and changing compartment under the console. Seating arrangements can be customized, too. Options include an aft bench, forward seat and pullout cooler seat—so your audience can watch in comfort as you land a trophy, then toast your good fortune!

Above All, Built For Fishing—And Other Kinds Of Fun

Since our inception we have been consistently refining our deck layouts, features and equipment to meet the demands of the latter. Every Bluewater comes fully rigged and ready to catch fish. The transom live wells are extra large, and the oversized insulated fish boxes are plumbed with top-quality pumps. We build in more rod and gear storage than you’ll likely ever need. High gunwales and ample toe room give you the leverage you need to fight and land your catch.

With standard features like a walk-through transom, Bluewater boats make great dive boats and day cruisers. Properly fitted out, they are well suited for all kinds of family activities, even water skiing.

The Best-Balanced Boats On The Water

At Bluewater, balance is the paramount design consideration. Applying his yacht-design background, Paul has created the best-balanced designs found in this class of boats. His innovative techniques of weight distribution permit Bluewater consoles to be farther forward than almost any other center console designs, meaning our boats have a bigger cockpit for fishing, diving and other activities than you’ll find in boats of similar length.

Our proven 24-degree deep-vee hull rides flatter and smoother than nearly all other center console boats, making them more comfortable, safer and drier at high speeds and in rough conditions.

Our superior seakeeping qualities also give Bluewater owners the confidence to routinely take their boats across to The Bahamas or out to the tuna grounds 100 miles offshore.

A Lifetime Of Oceangoing Experience Goes Into Every Bluewater

Paul Skilowitz, owner and president of Bluewater Sportfishing Boats, has been a boat builder for more than a quarter-century. Since the age of 13, Paul has spent much of his life on the water, which lead to his fascination with boat design. He received formal training through the Westlawn School of Yacht Design and designed and built successful oceangoing yachts for 12 years.

Thus, when he turned his attention to sportfishing boats and founded Bluewater in 1997, he brought a rare perspective to the design of center console boats. That is why, though some of the differences are subtle or even hidden, there is no other center console that performs quite like a Bluewater.

Welcome Aboard!

From our start in 1997, we’ve had three goals for Bluewater Sportfishing Boats:

• Build the best-riding, most durable center consoles afloat
• Give owners the flexibility to customize our boats to match their priorities
• Make the Bluewater buying and ownership experience a pleasure

An ever-growing number of Bluewater owners who appreciate these commitments have made each year more successful than the last. Now, thanks to our sustained growth, we are excited to announce that Bluewater Sportfishing Boats will be available through a limited number of marine marketing partners who share our philosophy. For our customers, this means greater convenience when purchasing their boats and knowledgeable support close at hand. Equally important, this will allow us to focus our energy on maintaining the quality standard we have established as we improve existing designs, add features and introduce new models. One thing will never change: Once you own a Bluewater, you’re a member of the family.

Safe boating and good fishing!
